
Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant joins the growing number of NBA players who tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a Tweet by Shams Charania, an NBA insider and reporter for The Athletic, he confirmed that Durant contracted the disease like Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Christian Wood.
Charania posted, "Kevin Durant tested positive for coronavirus, Durant tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Durant says he is feeling fine: "Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this."

The news of Durant testing positive from COVID-19 made him one of the top trending topics on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the Brookly Nets issued a statement via their social media accounts, wherein they confirmed that at least four of their players tested positive for coronavirus, too. They did not release the names of these athletes as of writing.
"Four Brooklyn Nets players have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Of the four, one player is exhibiting symptoms while three are asymptomatic. All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians."
